Itinerary
Day 1:
TO ULURU
Depart Alice Springs on the Desert Wanderer coach Travel to Jim's Place where the "Singing Dingo" may perform. Late morning tea as you view Mount Conner. On to Ayers Rock Resort. Travel into the National Park and visit the Cultural Centre, tour the base and/or climb Uluru, visit Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) and photograph the sunset on Uluru as you sip sparkling wine/juice and enjoy an evening buffet meal. After sunset you will be dropped off at Outback Pioneer Resort. Accommodation - hotel, budget lodge or tent.
Day 2:
FREE DAY AT AYERS ROCK RESORT
Free time to relax and unwind around the resort for additional option touring - a joy flight over Uluru, a Harley Davidson ride, take a camel to sunrise, a cultural tour or just relax. The choice is yours. We recommend that if you have specific things that you wish to do during this day that you pre-book prior to arrival. Accommodation - hotel, budget lodge or tent.
Day 3:
DAY TOUR TO KINGS CANYON
You will drive through sandhill country towards Kings Canyon, stopping for breakfast at Kings Creek Station (own expense) along the way. Continue on to Watarrka National Park where you can make the rocky climb with your guide to the rim of Kings Canyon to be rewarded with marvellous views**. The climb may take up to 3 hours and is for those with a good level of fitness. Alternatively, you may wish to explore the boulder-strewn canyon floor, an easier walk. After lunch (own expense)- free time before travelling to Alice Springs arriving 6.00 pm approximately.

  • 2 day tours are made up by combining 'Kings Canyon in a Day' & Uluru in a Day' with accommodation at Kings Canyon & Ayers Rock Resort. Our Uluru coach is usually a large 5* touring coach that connects with a Toyota Coaster from the Canyon.
  • Uluru Kata Tjuta National Park fee NOT included.
